Lovely hotel, lovely room, pleasant and attentive staff. beautiful gardens with deck chairs to relax in. Nice food in nice ambience in Brasserie. All in all a very nice experience..
I liked the structure of the building and the design of the small but well presented rooms including the product offering ion the bathrooms. The brasserie was also a nice experience and the restaurant staff were efficient.
I was not happy with the welcome we received at reception, nor was it good the next morning on check out. Efficient but unfriendly. My family and I booked 2 rooms and eat at the brasserie, a more welcoming and attentive staff would be nice.
A beautiful, country hotel. Excellent location. Friendly, efficient staff. A choice of relaxing indoor lounges or lovely gardens to sit in. We really enjoyed our break and would certainly return to this hotel again.
Visited the same hotel some 20 years ago and it was excellent thats why we chose to visit again, slightly dissapointed on recent visit considering it is now a 4 star rated hotel. Light bulbs out in the bedroom & bathroom, simple problems like this are easy to rectify why were they not done. Breakfast took a long time served coffee & toast immediately then one had to wait at least 15-20 minutes before any breakfast arrived by that time your toast was cold!!.
Would not return again after recent experience, for the tariffs paid I would expect better service & accomodation.
Very pretty Hotel with very good quality facilities mainly for couples looking for a romantic break with a top quality resturant. Lived up to the previous reviews would use this Hotel again but probably not room 23 as the double room was a little on the small side. Good base for see many of the cotswolds attractions
Bar drinks rather overpriced
Everything was perfect for our 30th wedding aniversary, it was a surprise for my wife and I gained many brownie points for booking it.
Central in Moreton in Marsh and excellent restaurant. Suberb Ambience.
The fact that VAT was added to the bill. We assumed that the prices quoted included Vat.
the ambiance and setting of both the hotel and cotswolds was excellent
Brilliant venue for the wedding we attended whilst staying at Manor House
Breakfast was not up to the standard I expected for this hotel
Central location in the Cotswolds. Right on the High Street. Great food in the restaurants.
Our room was an attic conversion room and getting to it was through a maze of stairs up and down and through many hallways. Very confusing and tiring...up a few stairs, down long hall, down a few stairs, walk a hall, up more stairs, etc...total of 32 stairs Once in the room, ceilings were very low because of being right under the slanted roof. Would not recommend a top floor room. Thought it was a lot of money for that particular room. We stayed in 9 different hotels on our 3 week trip and this was our least favorite because of the room. However, had we been in a differnt room on a lower floor, the hotel would have been one of the best.
stayed 2 nights at the manor house hotel would do better to offer A better food menue and not just gourmet..A fan in the rooms in summer as the rooms are very hot at night.. the double romms at the front of the hotel are very noisy we had to move to the rear of the hotel. but the brekfast was 5 first class. as was all of the staff will be staying again
goumet food was not worth the money and would like more chioce
A really great hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend the restaurant which serves excellent food. Loved the tasting menu. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent service in the restaurant which served superb food. Good location for visiting surrounding areas.
They provide lovely molton brown bath products (conditioner would be helpful!) which ate fab but our only criticism was the black mouldy sealant in the bathroom, which you cannot help but notice! Such a simple thing to remedy, but had clearly been over looked for some time. A real pity as the attention to detail elsewhere is faultless.
Excellent atmosphere and effusive staff. The food in the Brasserie is really superb and good value
The price for a modest twin bedded room in the attic is too high.
We loved the warmth of the furnishing and decoration which is truly magnificent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is ideally situated for exploring life in and around the Cotswalds. Mr & Mrs G Jacks
It is very centrally located, and the building is veryimpressive
